- Blood flow is redirected to healthy veins

What to expect after?
Compression stocking worn continuously for the first 3-4 days, then during the day for 3-4 more days
Avoid strenuous activity and heavy lifting (>10 lbs) for 1-2 weeks
Mild bruising and discomfort are common, manageable with over-the-counter pain relievers
Resume light activity like walking the day of procedure
